Every Death is a Tremor

Every Death is a Tremor
Sliding from fingertip to arm to foot
From foot to parking lot to earth to bedrock to tectonic plate
Showing oneself in the night to the moon & the harpies

Hiding oneself or being unobtrusive to the secret police

Stepping on the scale of interpretive dance
Dancing out the terror, dancing out the rage
Sleeping on the pavement, slipping out to a rave
Stopping once forever, never then to move
